Title: Help with my first restoration
Post by: nasaman on August 06, 2012, 01:06:39 PM
I am a new OPR volunteer and need help with my first restoration. I am having problems with getting the skin texture right for the woman on the right. The skin on her face is completely covered by a spotty pattern. Any tips and recommendations would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

- Mike

Hi Mike,

You have sure picked a difficult one for your first project!  I think maybe using the healing brush and patch tools while zoomed in to around 250% may give a little better results.  I just gave it a real quick try that's not complete but will give you an idea of what can be accomplished.  I'm sure you could take your time and do much better.  Also I think your color correction may be a little off. Try a basic levels and then adjust for 50% gray with curves.
