Volunteer

Operation Photo Rescue (OPR) would like to thank the out pouring of support that we have received since our inception in 2006. Recently we have received national attention and have added hundreds of new volunteers.

At the present time we are in need of volunteers with experience in restoring difficult photos that are often the norm for photos from disaster areas. Water damage is one of the most challenging to deal with as colors are distorted and mold starts to eat away at the original. Our goal is to restore the damaged photo as close to what it was originally.

If you have experience working in software such as Photoshop using: Levels and Curves Adjustments, Layer Masks, and working in Channels, we would encourage you to volunteer. Below is a sample of what to expect.

Your application to be an OPR Volunteer will be reviewed and acknowledged within 24-72 hours. Upon acceptance into OPR, you will be contacted with next steps needed to complete your registration. Note that you will need to select a desired username for use in the OPR Workshop community forum.
