Hi Kerbstone,

I think you are being abused but that is another story

The girls face is probably going to be the most important part of the image.

The green channel has most face detail so I copied it, duplicated it and set the blend mode to Multiply. Merged the layers, copied and pasted the duplicate on top. It was still rather soft so I duplicated it again and set the copy to overlay mode to get reasonable contrast.
Merged the last two layers and roughly cropped the background out.

Then set the result to Luminosity mode so the color is still original. Left it at that but further tweaking of levels, colour and perhaps some blur should help.

Good luck, keep us posted of your progress

Cheers
Athol

TY G3User.   I followed your steps and here is the result.  Thank you

And again using your method I got a better side on the recliner  :)

Kerbstone, much improved and Athol's hint helped. Pay no mind to his: "I think you are being abused but that is another story." He thinks I sent you this one, not that you had free choice to be abused.  :funny: This was not an easy one, good work!
