Young Brothers - Very Hard to Restor
« on: September 13, 2019, 10:03:49 PM »
Well, here we go on this doozy!
First, I ‘dust & scratches’ to eliminate the little yellow dots: there seemed to be more dots than spaces!
Then I smudged some of the bright area in the right side foliage to turn ‘green scrambled eggs’ into fronds: seems to sorta work—I’ll try some more.
Then I mirrored the right boy’s face and shaded it.
Gave the left boy a toupee from his brother and started to smudge his face mottle into skin.
There’s a long road ahead…

Very brave you are seelcraft!
I wonder, the new hairdo, are those lighter areas on the sides highlights perhaps?  (original photo)

Well, here's my reconstruction so far.
It's starting to look like a Monet!

Lovely!  You've pulled a lot of detail from the photo.

Okay, I think this is as far as this image should be reconstructed.

I don’t want to create more detail on the left boy: if I did he might look more real, but his mother wouldn’t recognize him!
