The Hat on this Restore

Hello.  I would like some advice on this photo.  After viewing the original I felt that the gentleman was wearing a baseball hat.   You can see that he had something on his head by looking at the photo near his right ear.   I thought it was a baseball hat of some kind.  So I put one on.  His left eye needed to be dealt with as well.  At any rate, I would appreciate it if you would let me know what you think should be done to improve the photo.  Thanks.

VERY rough... Maybe the head shape is more like this?

Phil, I think the eye looks pretty good.  What if you make his head a little taller and the hat a little larger?  I tried with Liquify, perhaps it needs to be even bigger.

Well I redid the hat.  Kind of different hat style as well.   Bigger as well.
