Bambi

Having trouble keeping the pattern and texture in the damaged part of his suit. Normally, I'm pretty good at this but this one has be baffled.

Shadow

That's a tough one Bambi. Maybe Lynn will have an idea tomorrow. GOOD LUCK!

hmmm I see your dilemma... I would try selecting good parts ctrl J to a new layer and keep repeating til you have enough fabric to spread around and cover the damage.. failing that.. (and you know I cheat all the time) find some fabric that is the same suiting material... I can usually find stuff that's a freeby download...looking at it again.. I think there is enough good fabric there to paste over damage and blend in...just means lots of ctrl J's   Good luck Bambi..
never giving up......learning from others as I go...

Bambi

I usually do both. Very little usable fabric on the jacket, but obviously that's the only way. Looked for fabric swatches, but they aren't as easy to find as I thought.

Mhayes

Bambi, I feel your pain as I'm trying to finish the bride from your gallery and having the same problem with the man's jacket. What you have got done looks great.
