Here is the original and my current WIP. Would like some suggestions. This image is out of focus, and has some pincushion distortion that may have been introduced when it was copied.

Great job Mike!
You fixed the pin cushion, looks good.  The focus was out in the original so that is not a problem.
The vertical line on the right side can probably be repaired?
