Spent the last couple of days an hour up the road at Cedar Key... can only stay two days as we get so relaxed we fall into comas...

Thanks Candy.. I just lost most of a day's work on my latest  muckerupper ... don't ask me how.. it's payment for going to Cedar Key and lolling about with shrimp and wine... :'(

I FOUND THE FILE!!! YEAY... BACKED UP ON MY SEAGATE DRIVE!!! I must have done something right after all.. phew! that was a lot of work down the drain...YEAY!!! :funny:

I didn't look at your photos earlier - brain on the fritz.

Looks like a gorgeous place. Can't see what harm a few more days would do...

That lizard's pose is hilarious! Given the raptor (not sure if that's a hawk - not good with bird IDs beyond owls and bald eagles!) you photographed, the lizard needs to pay attention to his surroundings!

We are pretty relaxed when we arrive at Cedar Key.. couple of days tips us over the edge into comatose.. the raptor bird is an Osprey.. big, like an eagle..

Hi Hannie thanks, pictures were experimental with new eyes and new camera.. birds were all a bit underexposed and noisey... I'll do better next time  ::) The little bird (fluffy one) is a Northern Water Thrush... (that's according to DH who is the birder in the family).

Lynn, love your photos and would love to check the place. Is the larger bird a Mississippi Kite or Osprey--or neither?
