Orange Hair

Hi guys.. mental block on how to get rid of this orange hair on baby.. I've tried all sorts of desats etc and all looks terrible.. any help would be appreciated.

I just colour picked the brown in his hair and set the paintbrush to 50% colour.

Let me throw out an alternative interpretation of the "orange hair."  Our oldest daughter has gorgeous auburn hair.  In looking at her baby pictures, there were numerous instances in which the effect was the same as in the first picture in this series, i.e., the isolated hair appeared more "orange" than the thicker hair.

Is it possible that what we see in the first picture is close to reality in this respect?

Ken, it could be a possibility. The one thing that makes me think it's not is the overblown light by the baby's head. But you could be right.
