I've tried to fix both photos but am having trouble with the face in one and the couch in the other. I just can't seem to get my head around the concept of fixing it.

Hi Larry,

I would recommend you email the gallery distributor and let him or her know that you feel the photos are beyond your skill level so that they can be put back into the gallery for another volunteer to restore. 

We are currently trying to finish up the last of the Joplin photos all of which are rather difficult.  Keep checking the galleries.  When the Hummelstown photos are ready I'm sure you will be able to fine some easier ones.
