Anything else needed for this one?

I decided to start with an easy one.

I can't tell if the bottom of the image is faded from damage or if it the highlights were blown out in the original picture by the bright sun.

Is there anything else it looks like I've missed?

Thanks,

Sharon

Hi Sharon,

The images you posted would not show so I fixed your links but maybe it was just my computer acting up!

You did a great job on this restore, you stayed very true to the original.  I have one suggestion that you may want to try out:  in a balance adjustment layer move the yellow slider just a tad to towards the right.

A great moment is captured in this photo and you've done a spectacular job Sharon!  I am wondering however if the door is white and the multi-hued effect is the result of damage?

Good job in restoring the photo, Sharon!

With a bright sunny day, I would expect a little bluish in the shade from the blue sky.  The yellow was probably from aging.  If you reduce the yellow as Hannie suggested and cut down saturation slightly, the door will not be that colorful anymore.
