What to do about this?

 :up: Hi There.  I'm coming along on this photo but I am wondering about this linear object near the subject's left foot.  It looks like a cord.  At any rate should I remove it or just leave it?  Thanks

Looks good already Phil!
When you look really closely you can see that the linear thingy extends over the top of her foot some so it must be damage?

(The photo is an Olan Mills studio portrait, I'm sure there would not be anything like that thing on the floor.)

Nice job!  I agree with Hannie that it is damage. Except for some remaining damage on dress and floor, you are ready to go.
