I think the thingy on the right is damage and you would be safe to remove it.

Thanks Tess and Hannie.  I really thought the thingy in the grass was
a watering hole for the cows.  Do they do that for cows?  If you guys
really think it's damage I'll remove it....simple thing to do.

Hi Mary,

I do not think this is damage as it shows up clearly in all three channels. I also do not think it is a water hole since it is too small. When you look at the original you can see the shadows that are in the grass that follows the shape around. That makes me think that it belongs there. My first guess was rock or cement to cover a hole. I would leave it in.
