Question/advice?

Hi

For my latest project I seem to have chosen one printed on patterned paper

The pattern seems to be making the restore more difficult
Is it acceptable to put it though FFT filter (or similar) to remove the pattern therefore ending in a plain print?

Hippy, this needs more refinement. Copy/paste the blue channel on top of the original. Sample the colors around the nose from the original, Create a new layer and paint, using the blue channel as the guide.




If you're not familiar with channels:

1 click the channels tab.
2 click the channel you want ( blue here)
3 select all/copy



4 click the rgb channel to reactivate all the channels
5 PASTE

You should now have a copy of your desired channel in the layers palette.
