#10 - Newspaper cutting?

Not sure how much more I can do to this one - it's a very powerful picture but looks like a newspaper cutting, so there is just no detail or colour...

Any comments or just keep as is?

Shade his face around the bridge of the nose  and up, just a bit more.  That should do it.  C

I agree with Candy, you could try that with curves.

Dave,

You could try duplicating the layer and set the blending mode to multiply, then lower the opacity as needed. Then I would try a curves adjustment layer and use the eyedropper to set the blacks & whites.
Just a thought.
