The girl with the blue veil seems to be holding something. Is it a bouquet or just damage?

My guess is that she's holding a bouquet surrounded by gauzy fabric with damage (the white area) right in the middle of it.

Looks to me like yellowy? lace and I'm not sure about the white bit is that her thumb at the bottom?

Is it like a posy?  A bunch of flowers surrounded by something white like a doily or lace?  If she's playing the part of the BVMary I'd say it's flowers.

Thanks everyone. I did a bit of smudging and blending so it looks a bit like flowers. The owners will probably remember what she's holding so I went with the soft approach.
