Title: Portrait of two
Post by: vic on September 22, 2019, 07:26:20 PM
I have had this one for a bit. Unfortunately, can't work on it more than a short time each day. It is from Hannie's challenge gallery.
It is clearly a WIP as I have a lot of detail work yet. Here is what I have so far. Areas that I am having some difficulty with include the style and color of the hair on the child; the hair color of the adult; shape of the eyes in both people; the right side (adult's right) of the face -- hard to tell where her face ends and neck begins. Please make comments, offer suggestions, etc.

Wow Vic, you did a great job!
I think the hair is pretty good, you can add some highlights like there are in the original.

I used liquify to change the little girl's eyes so they seem more the same, not sure if it is an improvement.  :)
Brought back the lady's neck line some, not sure if it is right but it seems more flattering this way

Hannie,
Thanks for the suggestions and I really like your adjustments, they really improved the portrait!
I will try to make the improvements and send the pic back to the gallery soon.
