Everyone,

I'm sad to say that I had to kick someone out of OPR today. This volunteer was frustrated with the process and instead of simply asking for help he chose to send a couple of profanity filled tirades to me as personal messages.

I know that this organization can be frustrating for all of us at times. But, please keep in mind that we all need to be respectful of each other at all times.

I have taken quite a few email beatings from frustrated volunteers, but this is the first time I've had to show someone the door. It was not pleasant, but I will not hesitate to do it again if a similar situation should occur.

We're all in this to help others. We can't do it if we can't get along with each other.

Dave

 Thumbs up

No room for egos here, there's too many big hearts.   People like that should really put their CS3 where their mouth is.

I agree with Dave 100%.  If you have a problem, and I have had my share with some restorations that were more than I originally thought they were, you need to get on this forum and ask for help.  Or if worse comes to worse, admit defeat and turn it back in.  We all have to remember that Dave and the other folks who run OPR are doing it for free.  As a matter of fact, we are all volunteers and sure don't deserve abuse.  If anything, Dave and his folks should get our praise and support.

Well, that's my 2 cents for what it's worth.
