It really looks wonderful! Of course, I can't see much detail at this resolution and size, but if you're wanting to recreate stitched patches, this tutorial might help.

Thanks, I used some layer effects that I forgot lose detail when I scale down so its not exactly what the finished project will look like. I may hold on to this for another day before submitting see if I have any extra touch ups..

Nice work.
Only suggestions would be:
Reds are a bit oversaturated, especially in the face. 
Maybe reduce the contrast a bit, as the detail in the jacket is missing due (can no longer see pockets).

I agree on the contrast.  The face looks a little shiny because of it also.  Being a retired military dependant, I know first hand how pickey these military guys are about their uniforms!  Smiley  I definitely needs the pocket to show....the owner will notice.  The patch is an E6 Marine, if that will help.
