:)Hi everyone! I'm very excited to be able to join this organization. I love doing restoration work and have had my own side business with it for almost 9 years. I started getting more into photography from people seeing my resto work and hope to continue to grow and learn in both aspects. I live in St. Peters Missouri, an arms throw away from St. Louis. My current website is http://www.theresahudson.com Hope to see you all in the forums!

Hi Theresa and welcome!

I’ve looked at your website and the work is absolutely beautiful.  By clicking on Profile in the blue bar at the top of this page, you can then modify the information seen by other volunteers on the Forum.  You can add an avatar, and also a link to your beautiful website.

Welcome Theresa,

Very glad to have you aboard.  I looked at your website for restoration and photography.  Very nice.
Your talents will fit in very well here.

Hi Theresa, welcome to OPR from your neighbor to the east---El Dorado, KS. I think you will really enjoy the challenges of some of our photos. With your experience in photography and restoring will give you an eye for repairing. The main difference with our photos is that disasters can really wreck havoc with photos as compared to photos with just age damage. Have fun and look forward to seeing you on the forum.

Hi, Theresa:

Welcome to OPR and to Forum. I think you'll fit right in with this group. You have already selected your first picture and I hope you'll post your work in progress here, too. I've learned so much—from my own posts and all the others. Whatever issue arises, at least one of our members knows how to fix it. Sometimes you get more than one solution and can pick the one that suits you!

I came from a retouching background and I had never even seem photos this badly damaged. But the smart, patient members of Forum have taught me that the best restorations look as if the restorer just wiped away the damage with a soft, clean cloth.

Hi Theresa

A most warm welcome from central Florida.  I checked out the restorations on your web site and can tell that you'll be able to jump right in and do beautiful work from the get-go.  I hope you'll participate in the forum and help other volunteers, as well as ask for help if you run into any problems.

I'm so glad you've joined us!

Cheers.
