Hello everyone....my name is Connie Barr and I live in the country about 80 miles west of Houston. I love photography and working with photos on PS. Having the opportunity to use my "limited but learning" skills to restore photos for people who have been through a disaster is very heartwarming for me. I look forward to gaining more knowledge by learning from others in this program. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

A BIG WELCOME CONNIE, Welcome to Operation Photo Rescue. Have a look in the Galleries, there are several photographs with limited damage you could start with to restore and before you know it your "limited skills" will be expert. Everyone is here to help. At any time you get stuck on a restore, post the original picture and your current work in process on the forum and you will learn a lot from all the talented volunteers we have. Again, welcome. Mike

Connie, welcome; thank you so much for deciding to join us! Take a look around the forum and you’ll see that not only is this a great place to get to know and interact with your fellow volunteers there is a wealth of tips in past posts that can be bookmarked for future reference.
Posting you work in progress in the forum for friendly critique is the best way to get help when you run into a snag with your work. We are a fun and sometimes zany group and look forward to seeing more of you here in the forum. Pat

Connie, welcome to OPR from Kansas. You will be in your element here and all of us started as beginners. I think you will find that the forum is the best place to increase your skills and get to meet the other volunteers.

Hi Connie
Welcome from sunny and way-too-warm West Central Florida! You've joined at a great time, as we'll soon have photos coming in from the Joplin run. Working on the restorations will make you a guru in no time!
It's great to see so many of our newbies on the forum. I hope you'll be part of the fun.
I'm so glad you've joined us!
Cheers,
GK

Welcome Connie! This time from beautiful Glen Carbon Illinois This is the place to learn about photo restoration, and help a bunch of people at the same time. Great combination if you ask me! PhotoBob

Hi, Connie:
Welcome! Margie's right—we all started as beginners and help each other to become experts. There's a great selection of photographs in the Galleries, so I'm sure you'll find one you like. Can't wait to see your work in progress on Forum.
