Hi all,
I received my first picture, downloaded and nestled comfortably on my hard drive.
I am really looking forward to doing this as there are a few more challenges that I missed when I viewed it in Photo Shelter. In fact I could almost swear, nahhh, can't be.

There are going to be some issues that I will have questions on but I'll wait until I am further along before I call out for help.

Hi Steven,

I'm sure it wasn't because of our 3 distributors  Halo  Halo  Halo as what you see in their galleries does not change in appearance when downloaded to your hard drive.

Look forward to your posting or to hear if any surprises surface later.

Steven, you've just experienced every volunteer's pain at the hands of the distribution crew's muck machines and wicked sense of humor.  All I can say is, after a while you get accustomed to the shock, shrug it off, and carry on.  I'm only 30ish, but if you go back into some of the old threads, you'll find photos of me.  They've aged me more than 30 years with their pranks!  Stinkers.

Don't hesitate to post if you run into a snag.  Many of us really do love to help with challenges.  We've all helped each other get through some seemingly impossible restorations.

Good luck with your first monster!

It's one of their favorite tricks Steven - and they are very good at it. Just accept it and move on with life. They're in it for the initial shock factor  Cheesy Cheesy , after that, you will find them (and the rest of us) very helpful. So fear not!  Smiley
