Hello all!  I just joined OPR today.  I run a modest side business doing photo restorations, and when I heard about what OPR is doing, I just couldn't resist helping them out.  It's so wonderful what y'all are able to accomplish here.  I'm looking forward to being a part of it!

Hi Memory Restorer, you will feel right at home here and you will already have a head start, but you may be in for a surprise when you see the amount of damage on our photos. Right now we are winding down, but will have more with the Joplin run and I'm hoping some photos may come to us sooner.

Welcome to OPR and thanks for joining!

Welcome to OPR Memory Restorer!  We are so glad you've decided to join us.  The forum is a wonderful place to interact with your fellow restorers.  You will find wonderful tips and loads of friendly help should you have questions or run into a problem with your restoration.

Welcome Memory Restorer. Sounds like you already have some background. Though the one thing you may find here are the restorations that any sound of minded person would not touch. What amasses me is how well these really tough ones turn out. Look  forward to seeing you on the forum.

I've found this group to be the most caring, sharing environment I've ever worked in. The knowledge the members share is worth every hour you spend here. I've learned so much from this group and although the photographs are challenging, you come away from each one so much richer. It might sound corny, but it's the most rewarding work I've ever done. Welcome. Look forward to seeing your posts on Forum.

Hi M-R

Welcome from Florida!  I know your experience will be a huge advantage when you start attacking the muck monsters.

Take note of Bamie's post just before mine.  I couldn't have expressed my feelings about OPR any better.  I've been here 5 years (Hannie, shouldn't I get a muck-machine pin or something?), and I've loved every minute of every year with OPR.  I've tackled the worst of the worst; I've been on a copy run, and hope to go on more, and the rewards are better than any amount of money one could name.

I'll look for you on the forum, too.  Don't be shy.  We love to help anyone who's struggling.  We've all been there.

Bless!
