I wonder if we could try calling the family and asking what kind of machine was.  Then perhaps we would have better luck finding a reference photo on the web.

that is a wonderful idea!!!
it is a Benz photo if I had an adequate description of the machine i could concentrate on fixing the rest  of the photo!!!

Hi Jesterjeni,

I was out of town when I got a voice message on my phone today from the owner. She said it is an International Harvester Combine 1974. She is going to call me back with the exact model number. I know to some this may not seem to be something remembering, but she was clear in how much this photo meant to her and what a treasure it is that we are working on it.
