my feelings exactlly!

Here's the second of my pair of photos.  Are they done?  They look better on my screen, but here the hand still looks blotchy and the face is too light around the left eye. I also see a halo around the right side of the head and arm.   I'll work on those.  Anyone see anything else?

Her's where I'm at now.  I removed the texture, halo, and fixed the hand.  Did several other fine tunes.  I think I'm finished unless anyone else sees something.  Comments please....Hannie, what do you see?

Betty,

You might try the Patch tool on a separate background layer to even out some of the blotch areas on the face. I also think the corner of the mouth on our right maybe a little too wide. To me the mouth doesn't seem to balance if you get my drift.

Johnboy,
Thanks for the critique.  I also felt the right side of the lower face wasn't quite right, but couldn't figure out what was wrong.  I was thinking it was the chin, but everything there is just gone.  I'll try the mouth.

I'll also experiment with the patch tool.  I seem to get too many blurry edges when I use it and just get more 'patches' Undecided  I'll work a little more though.  Hannie suggested some grain in the background too, as the sweater, etc still shows a lot of noise.  But without pulling out my knitting needles....I just didn't want to get started there!  Too many 'little white dots' to even think about!

Johnboy,
On a side note....where is Hamilton?  I grew up in Hartville, Ohio, up in the Akron/Canton area.  I spent twenty years there, then got married to a career Army officer, and only made it back to visit family.  Now we're settled in Florida.
