Huh?  Hi I was wondering whether or not the harsh shadow going across the girl's neck and chest is real or an artifact.  Should I deal with it or not?

I think the shadow is real for it seems to be in her face too. So I would leave it in.

Phil, I think the little girls has shadow under her chin but I think that what looks like a shadow accros the bib is damage.

I agree with Hannie, look at the top right of that "shadow" where it is on the stairs.  It appears to be a piece of paper or something.  Then, if that is what is going on there, it is what is on the bib.

I would say shadow. It curves along the line where the fabric pooches out. And the lighting is coming from about 11:00, which would cast her whole face, i think.
