My name is Margery and I have just joined OPR. I am excited to get started.
I am still learning Photoshop, but I am hoping that my skills, however green, will be useful.
I look forward to meeting some of my fellow volunteers Smiley

You are truly in for a treat. The people in this group are just too nice. And each so remarkably talented. Their constructive criticism and willingness to share a vast wealth of experience and resources are good as gold to Photoshop users at any level. Look forward to seeing your work on Forum.

Welcome Margery to the OPR family!  We are so glad you've decided to join us.  I think you find this work tremendously rewarding but be prepared as it can become a little addictive.

We look forward to seeing more of you here in the forum.  It's the best place to come for loads of friendly tips and advice should you run into problems with a restoration.

Hi Margery and a warm welcome from Amsterdam!
Volunteers use Photoshope, Paintshop Pro and Gimp mostly.  I use Photoshop but I haven't learned a fraction of all that is possbile!  I honestly think it is impossible to learn to use everything in one lifetime!

Hi Margery

A very, very warm welcome from Florida.  I can't believe how our numbers are growing.  That's especially great, because we'll be doing copy runs to gather photos from the tornado-ravaged areas - Hubby and I are looking foward to the copy run in Griffin, GA, the 15th & 16th to help collect what we can in that area.  And I'd imagine the run to Joplin is going to be huge.  Lots to do.  Lots of wonderful people to work with and help you when you run into a snag.  Hard to believe but I just celebrated my 5th anniversary with OPR, and joining was one of the best things I've ever done for myself.

Will look for you on the forum.  Don't be shy about jumping in if you run into an issue.  I'll be doing that myself tonight in hopes of getting some fresh eyes.

I'm so glad you've joined us.

Cheers,

GK

Thanks to all for the warm welcome!
I have corresponded with some really nice people.
There is so much really amazing work that I know I will have to work hard to meet the standards set by others, but I am so glad that I can be here.
Take care
