Here is the before and after. If you see anything that still needs to be worked on, let me know.

Thanks, Penny

Beautiful repair job Penny!

I noticed that in the top and middle part the whites are a little blown out.
In the bottom part you lost some detail in the darker areas.

I wonder if that can be fixed?  (the bottom part is easy but in the top part some detail is gone now)

I was afraid the top part couldn't be darkened because too much detail is missing.

Penny, I would not lighten the middle part, only the bottom (with a gradient mask) and perhaps the sky a little less dark (also with gradient mask)?
I used your first version in my example.

Hannie tell me what you are seeing in the sky original. Clouds, or mountains perhaps? Maybe I need to start over.
Even I have to admit, I overcorrected with the contrast. What do think, I still have until Wed to turn this in.

I see it Hannie!!
There really are trees, or mountains in the background. Given where they were it makes sense.
Starting over I think, but keeping the other just in case. Just in case of what I don't know.
 Embarrassed
Thanks for seeing for me

Here is what I found in the sky area. Not sure if this one is worth worrying about the sky.

Penny, when you have time could you fix the link to your first post of this topic?  (otherwise the comments that follow in the next post don't make much sense)

Thanks,

Hannie

Penny, thanks for fixing the link!  Only thing is, it is a different photo than the one that was there before so my comment makes even less sense!

(the reason I'm being so picky is to keep our forum the wonderful knowledge base that it is!)

Thanks,

Hannie

Sorry Hannie this is the only other one that I have. I hope it is the right one, other wise it is probably gone. Sorry, again
