This looks pretty straightforward.

So what did I miss?   Undecided   I looked at the baby's face up close and did not have much detail.  I don't want to play with it unless necessary.

As always, I will appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Hi David

Nice job.  The only thing I see that you might revisit are a couple of obvious clone areas at the lower left.  Otherwise I think it's ready to go home.

Thanks Ladies.  Smiley  I will revisit the lower left corner.  Always good to have those fresh sets of eyes looking at your work.  Old black & white definitely gives you less to deal with.  Smiley

Here is another picture of the same baby (I think).   Please do what you do so well folks and review the restoration.  Really, I appreciate the help.

I think the original was slightly out of focus.  I did what I could with the unsharp filter.

David,

In the first pic I am not sure the highlights on the bushes are speculars or damage. May want to take a few out so the eye doesn't jump to that location.

In the second pick the area above the center of the window looks a little funny to me. Like the bricks are being squeezed from both sides and are about to pop out in the center. It doesn't look that way in the original. Also the line between the bricks and the window don't match quite right. One side looks brighter than the other. I am not seeing an even amount of dark color below the white across the top of the window.

I hate to say it but I remember those strollers. Probably road in one like it.

Hi David,

Great restore!  I want to ask you not to sharpen, the printed result is not always very good after the use of USM.
I know it is very tempting to sharpen this image but if any sharpening is necessary QC will do that.

Oops! Thanks for the advice.  It's back to the drawing board.  The original just did not look right without the sharpen but I understand.  I may have even pushed the sharpening a bit much anyway. I see what you mean about the bricks.  I will see what I can do. My challenge was to get the missing parts from the first to second.

Thank you both for your comments.

Okay This is what I did with you folks' comments.  Hopefully this will work.

I fixed the bricks as best I could.  I took out the sharpening.  My only question is the black line by the baby's foot. I don't know if is damage or it belongs with the photo.   Undecided  It looks toof clear to be damage? What do you folks think?

On a separate note, anybody want to come to Griffin in mid-July?  I can guarantee it will be hot but we will be helping some folks who lost some precious memories.   Smiley

Sorry my husband and I can't join you, David, but my hubby has surgery scheduled about then.

As to the black line over the foot, it looks to me like some kind of guard to help keep the foot from slipping out. It doesn't look like damage to me.

I agree with Tori that the line is some kind of foot guard.
