Hello all,

I am super thrilled to get started for this amazing cause! I work from home restoring photos and creating event posters. Prior to getting married last year, I worked as a Volunteer Manager for a nonprofit organization and have volunteered with many others since the time I was in high school.  I love what I do and I can't wait to hone my restoration skills.  I appreciate the opportunity and look forward to getting started soon.

Best,

Welcome aboard!!
this is an amazing place to learn
a snapshot shot in time cannot be relived, but sometimes it can be restored or recreated, I have been profoundly impressed with the work done here in OPR and I am proud to be a minuscule little part of it!!

Welcome Malory!  Thank you for lending your skills to the OPR cause.  I think you will find us a fun group and ready with lots of friendly advice should you run into questions with one of your restores.  We're looking forward to seeing more of you in the forum.

Welcome Malory! I think you will be right at home here and it's great you have some experience restoring photos.

Hi Malory

Welcome from Florida.

If you love restoring photos, you're going to be ecstatic about having joined OPR.  I can't believe I'm coming up on 5 years with the team, and it's been the best experience of my life.  Challenging and fulfilling at the same time.  I hope you have the same experience.  Those of us who like to play have a great time in between our pixel-pushing episodes. There are a few imps - I won't mention any names.  Since I'm one of the elders, I stay pretty serious, as befits my age. (Cough, cough!)

Just a side remark - Someone posted on Facebook yesterday a supposed photo of Osama bin Laden after he'd been killed and another photo beside it of him in good health.  On the other side was a photo (supposedly another of bin Laden) and it was so obvious that the identical marks were on both men (as they weren't both BL).  It was great to be able to declare with all my OPR bravado that I was a Photoshopper, and I could verify that the photo was a phony.  Whoo hoo.

Cheers
