Hi there!  I joined several months ago but just now have time to get started.  I have 10 years of experience with Photoshop, having retouched hundreds of my family's old photos.  The photos I've worked on were from two great-grandmothers and were all black and white, so I'm practiced at fixing black and white photos.  Color photos are still more of a challenge, but I'm willing to give it a shot!

Hi Debi,

Welcome to OPR. Those B&W photos can be more of a challenge at times than color. Don't be concerned about working with color it gives all of us fits. I was always told that if a person was good at printing black and white photos they would be good at printing color. The reason is you already have the eye for tonal balance from b&w prints then it is a matter of teaching color correction. So your B&W experience may be helpful when working with color than you think.
