My name is John and I am a digital image restorer and custom framer.  After navigating this site for the past couple of days, I find myself humbled in the presence of so many willing people who devote a great deal of their time to such a worthy cause.

We're glad you've joined us! I'm sure you'll enjoy getting to know our group through the Forum. It's also a great place to post your work-in-progress and to get help with restoration challenges that come up (there are always challenges!).

Did you notice the Official Handbook link? It's a great place to get started before you start on your first restore. There are also a lot of tutorials available. Lately we've been discussing the usefulness of layer masks. Feel free to join the discussions!

Great to meet you. Luckily here in Perth we are experiencing beautiful weather, however, the same cannot be said for our eastern states friends, who are suffering extensive flooding in areas from Queensland to Victoria.  Every day you here stories of support from all areas of Australia for people in these areas which is fantastic.

Thanks for the website comments. I am in the process of updating this site with more recent work so stay tuned.
