The blue channel suggests that her hair is piled up on her head.

Would the x-ray vision department please advise

(thanks Hannie)

Hi Athol,

great job so far!
I just used some hair brushes by Dave Nagel (http://photoshop.digitalmedianet.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=36502) to paint in some hair.
Further I added two catchlights into her eyes to make them come alive a little. To do that I used a very small brush, painted them in, blurred the layer and dropped the opacity to about 50%.

Athol, what a great job on the dress!

X-ray vision is not gong to do it here, unfortunately my crystal ball is being serviced so I can't help you.
I think you're right about the hair being piled up on top of her head and towards the back.

Thanks Jonas. I had tried to show the lighter parts of her eyeballs but not very effectively. With these rather small prints I find it essential to do a print to see the real result and hadn't done so when I posted. Your idea of her hair is about what I came to and will try the brushes you mention.

Hannie, funnily enough the dress was dead easy with noiseware and clone tool, after lots of time attempting to repair the wall I ended up recreating it.

On with her hair
