Hi Everyone,

PhotoShelter has done an upgrade to their system  We're Not Worthy! and now we have the comment section back. You can now go back to the regular way of requesting a photo. You will not longer have to do a request by email---Yeah!

It's great that comments are again allowed. It's even greater that the thumbnails now enlarge enough so we can see what the muck machine has done. But HOW IN THE DEVIL can we upload finished photos?

Lurch, I hope the uploading still works the way Tess described it a couple of weeks ago in this post:

Hannie, it doesn't work that way any more. There isn't any "Welcome back lurch". I looked and looked, and couldn't find any live link that led me to an upload button. Might have something to do with the fact that Photoshelter has me classified only as a photo buyer and not as a contributor of any sort. BTW, the photo I was trying to upload is yours - the cute little boy you just sent.

PS: I have one for Tess too. Is there any workaround? Email comes to mind, but the files are pretty big.

Thanks, Kiska - you were a big help. Finally figured it out. Wasn't quite the way you said, but you pointed me in the right direction.

When you click the Photoshelter link at the top left of the OPR Forum page, you get this, which is a dead end as far as uploading is concerned:

The link takes you to http://opr.photoshelter.com. There used to be a welcome link showed up there after you signed in but they've taken it away.
Now if you go instead to http://photoshelter.com, you get this:

Note there's no link to Photographer area anywhere.
Once you sign in (upper right corner), you get to where you can upload:

Conclusion - it's the forum page that needs fixing, not Photoshelter.

I always use the PhotoShelter uploader tool, available at
http://www.photoshelter.com/usr/img-upload-tool

It was still working the last time I used it (about 2 weeks ago).
