Great cleanup, well done!  You can add a little more levels adjustment in the green and blue channel (RGB) to bring out some of the whites.

thanks for the hint, I redid the levels and think it looks a lot better :-)

Color correction is always a bit hard for me since I'm not working on a calibrated monitor so far.
