Just wanted to introduce myself - I am new to OPR. I'm a graphic designer and enjoy working in Photoshop so I thought this would be a great way to enjoy it even more. Helping people hold onto memories - their family history - is invaluable and I'm glad to help. Very much looking forward to working on the first restoration.

Hi Sue. greetings from Kansas. You will feel right at home here. Don't get discouraged with some of the photos in the galleries as more are added all the time. Right now we are trying to get some of the family's photos out before adding more. If you run into any problems, this is a great place to meet and get advice.

Hi Sue

Welcome to OPR from a fellow graphic designer in Florida.

I can't throw enough superlatives at you about this organization and its members.  It's great to have another newbie.  Our new members stir the pot and add some spice for us oldsters (I just completed my third year with OPR and have loved every minute). Great to have different perspectives.

Beware of the two cheerful people who posted before me.  They and Tess handle the distribution of photos, and they're sneaky devils!  Bait-and-switch divas!  You'll choose a photo that looks workable from one of the galleries, and once you download it – whoa!  Where'd all that mud come from? Scratches?  Spots?  Blobs?  The OPR mantra: "It didn't look that bad in the gallery."

Be sure to post if you're unsure about anything.  Someone will jump in to help.

I'll look for you on the forum.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum from a frosty cold Tasmania, Sue. Don't believe a word Glenna says about us sweet distributors.  Grin
