Hey OPR gang,

I'm currently in Mexico serving as faculty for a photojournalism workshop called Truth With A Camera that starts today in Guadalajara.

I know it doesn't have anything to do with photo restoration, but I think many of you all will be interested in following the work since it deals with the connection between photography and humanity. Much like OPR.

So I invite you all to take a look at our blog at: http://www.truthworkshopblog.org/

Thanks.

Dave, it's awesome that you're involved in this workshop.  The photos on the blog are so affecting and bring home the power of an image caught at just the right time. I'd think anyone in OPR would appreciate what you're doing.  It's an extension of your founding of OPR and says much about what's important to you.  I'm now more of a photographer wannabe than I was before.  I love the concept of capturing the truth, because I also believe that there's as much beauty in bearing witness to the reality of the human condition in all its facets as there is in sharing pretty "art" shots.

I intend to keep an eye on the blog. You rock, bud!

Dave thanks for sharing, looks like you guys are having a great time! (wonderful choreography in the "Prep day" video ;-))
I love the photography, there are some amazing shots there.

It is great to see the Mexicans have heir own version of shoarma and serve it with tortilla, limes and sauces, yummy!

Dave, what a wonderful experience. The photos were moving and needed no translation.

PS You didn't move that fast in Galveston.
