Hi Dave --

I hope you and your family have had a wonderful vacation.  I'm writing to advise you that I've once again contacted the St. Pete Times to see if they'll do a write-up on OPR.  What I sent them follows:

"Greetings

Noting the article you published recently about what people would take with them at the threat of a hurricane, I'd recommend that you check out the web site of Operation Photo Rescue (oprworkshop.org), an international group of volunteers who are restoring photos damaged during hurricane Katrina.  I think it would make a great story, since we could face the same loss one day.

I am one of the volunteers, and I can tell you that there is some wonderful work being done by this group.  Volunteers hail from many places in the world, including Australia, Israel, Brazil and the UK - as well as all over the U.S.

I'd love to see OPR get some more press. Please consider doing a story on them and their work.

Best wishes

Glenna Boyette"

Here's hoping that they follow up this time.

My best to you as always,

Glenna
