Thanks for signing up and we all appreciate your patience and enthusiasm regarding the OPR Project.  We envision this being  the best community of photo restoration volunteers anywhere.  Everyone is welcome, we only ask two things:

1.  You follow through - if you offer to take on an image, make sure you give it your best shot.  Don't worry if you get stuck, that's what the community is for.  If you can't go any further with your image, ask for help on the boards and hand it off to someone who may have the skillset needed to complete the job.

2.  PLEASE do not flame or troll (I said please!). This is not the place to vent political opinions and/or criticize or insult other people's efforts.  Offending posts will be reviewed and, if deemed inappropriate, the posting account will be suspended and/or banned.  We don't foresee this being an issue, but we have to clarify that we want this to be a fun place to visit and no one wants to deal with big egos or abrasive personalities.  This forum is about a bigger cause than any individual ego.  This is your community; it is our community, please treat fellow OPR Volunteers with the respect that they have earned.

If you have not yet received an image to work on, please remain patient.  We are trying to balance efficiency with quality and want to provide the best product to both our volunteers and to the people who seek our services.

So please remember... you are part of a super community of like-minded individuals who share the same passion to restore what nature and time has damaged.  This community has the potential to offer unlimited personal rewards that can take shape in the form of friendships, improved skillsets, and of course, helping someone who needs it.  As with anything worthwhile, you will only get out of the OPR project what you are willing to put into it.  With that being said, we ask that you do your best to make the forum an example for other sites to measure themselves by.

We thank your for your support!
