Margie & Hannie,

Thanks for your comments. I'll get it going. I was hoping not to be so late tonight. We had a thunderstorm go through in the early evening, and I think lighting hit something as the lights went out. About an hour later they were back for about 10 seconds when I heard a pop like another transformer blew. Took them over an hour to get that fixed. So it may be a day or two before I get this one home.

Johnboy it sounds like some heavy weather over there in Ohio, I don't envy you!  Power failures must be awkward to say the least.  We haven't had any over here but by saying that I probably just tempted fate!

Hi Johnboy,

I think you sent me some of your bad weather last night. The neighbor's transformer was hit and further north got 6 in of rain and east of us got 8 in. We are sitting fine on the Walnut river because of the reservoir above, but there is a west branch of that river that they are expecting to flood north of town, which will prevent going into town.

Whenever you have a chance to upload will be fine. Thanks.

Sorry about your luck Margie. We didn't get that much rain. My garden rain gauge had about .3 of an inch (.762 cm for you metric folks) in it this morning. More rain is predicted for overnight tonight. My wife and I came back from an outdoor concert a while ago and we could see lightening in the clouds to the west.

Hannie, the storm really wasn't that bad. It started with just rain then came the lightening and thunder. Heavy rain at times and light rain too. I think my electrical outage was more on my street. I talked to someone this morning who lives about a block away but not on my street and she said their lights didn't go out. Goes to figure when you have a lot of computer work to do somebody pulls the plug.

Hope to get the photo sent up tomorrow.
