Hi Dave

This has been on my mind for a while, and my memory was refreshed when I went to Digg and found the earliest blogs from your first trip to the Delta area after Katrina.  I think the blogs are wonderful and are a fine history of OPR's inception.  They're still a great read.

What do you think of having a place on the forum for those blogs?  It seems to me that this would be a great way to let our members, especially the newbies, know how you and Becky founded OPR with the help of your beloved Angela and the rest of the awesome people who were with you from the beginning.  I'll always consider those of you who started this organization among the most wonderful people in the world.  And being such, you've drawn to OPR a global community of equally incredible and huge-hearted volunteers.

I'd also love to read your viewpoint of what OPR has become after nearly 2 years.

Since you have plenty of spare time I'd think it wouldn't take long to get this information online!  (Please step away from the tape measure!)

Bless

Glenna

P.S.  Can I get some amens?

I second the motion.

There was a time that I could not gain access to OPR website, so I did a google search for OPR.  Dave's blogs came up and I thought they were great pages of OPR history that should be preserved (or restored)  Smiley

I need to do a complete update on the blog.  I did put in something a week or two ago, just to try and get it current.  I agree that the blog is the best place for anyone checking out OPR to find out what we are up to.

If you put in Operation Photo Rescue on a Google search, the earlier blogs are there for the reading. The early blogs were great!

I'll get with John to see if we can post these somewhere that would be easily accessible.

In case you haven't been checking the blog, I have been doing a few updates, and will try and be more frequent with my updates, especially with our Winona trip coming up.  If anyone has suggestions for the blog, please let me know.
